Milano Moda Graduate 2019 - CNMI
On the 14th of June 2019, the fifth edition of the project took place at the same time as Milano Moda Uomo: Milano Moda Graduate give students the opportunity to present their projects of fashion design, accesories design, styling, visual merchandising, knitwear, wearable technology, jewellery, sustainability, model making and tailoring.
For this edition, a special category was dedicated to YKK Italy, Main Partner of the event for the second time in a row: among all the candidate designers for Milano Moda Graduate, eleven of them were chosen to create a special outift for a fashion show dedicated to YKK, always committed in giving even more space to creativity and talent. At the end of the event, the most representative outfit made by John Lloyd Palomares was awarded by YKK.
In addition, a particular attention was focused on the training of young designers, thanks to the workshops dedicated to the theme of fastening accessories, in which YKK has a well-established and consolidated leadership.
The winners of Milano Moda Graduate 2019 is Francesco Murano.
